High Protein Waffles

Makes a nice change from pancakes, but essentially the same recipe can be used for both!

Ingredients (serves 2-3)

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 200g cottage cheese

  • 1 cup of oats

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda

Method

  1. Heat your waffle maker

  2. Throw everything into a blender and blitz

  3. Lightly oil your waffle maker (I like a spray oil for this)

  4. Pour in quantity (you’ll need to judge this for yourself according to your waffle maker, the mixture will expand!)

  5. Serve with some high protein yoghurt and fruit
